Appearing on Thursday’s Ellen Degeneres Show, the Client List actress, 33, admits that she’s on the prowl again for a new man.

“I am very single,” Hewitt admitted. “It’s good.”

But the famously unlucky-in-love star told Ellen DeGeneres there’s a newly available celeb hunk she’s been thinking about.

“I always have my eyes out,” Hewitt said. I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again . . . I’m just saying.”

Indeed, Maroon 5 singer and The Voice coach, 33, split with Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Anne V, 26, after two years together; the couple announced the breakup on Monday.

Maybe! Ben Flajnik didn’t get the final rose on The Bachelorette, but he did score a date with Jennifer Love Hewitt! Wednesday on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, the actress opened up about her “chance encounter” with the 28-year-old winemaker.

During the show’s August 1 finale, Hewitt, 32, tweeted that she needed to “book a flight to Sonoma,” which is where Flajnik lives and works. The actress explained her cyber-flirting to Seacrest, saying: “I was looking for something pop culture to tweet about… Things got blown out of proportion… I have nothing to say except I’m totally single!”

Seacrest’s cohost, Ellen K., asked the Can’t Hardly Wait Star: “Did you make out with [Ben]?”

Hewitt laughingly answered that “Rumors are rumors… We did meet, but totally by coincidence.”

An eyewitness told Us Weekly, however, that Flajnik initially stopped by Lion’s Pub in San Francisco with Giants player Cody Ross, but he made a beeline for Hewitt after spotting her across the room. “It seemed like a first date, but he wasn’t overly affectionate,” the source added.

Hewitt told Seacrest the duo just happened to be at the same place at the same time.

If the actress is interested, she better make her move. An insider told Us that Flajnik “is the favorite with the women trying out for [The Bachelor] and the crew” and might be back on reality TV soon.

She told us, “I think its important that we in Hollywood, and in the business, start paying homage to [real women] instead of picking on them. We’re picking on what real women look like and that’s not fair. They’re the women who buy the magazines and go see the movies. When our PopStop TV team caught up with the Ghost Whisperer star at the opening of ‘West Side Story’ in LA, we asked her the question that’s on everyone’s mind – do we hear wedding bells in the near future?

“What? Wedding bells?” Jennifer asked, “he’s got wedding bells in his jacket!” She then playfully points to Beh’s brown suit jacket. “Ya, that must be it. He’s got a lot in there so you must have heard him walking in.”

“We’re crazy!” she joked to Us when asked why they decided to do the race together. “We are really excited about all the charities involved, and we heard the Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon was really fun and just sort of silly and a great way to stay in shape.”

Stories circulating on Monday have not one, not two, but three major names attached to a TNT reboot of the iconic series “Dallas.”

Kiefer Sutherland (“24″), Jennifer Love Hewitt (“Ghost Whisperer”) and Josh Holloway (“Lost”) are all coming off successful TV shows, and now outlets including the Daily Mail claim they’re primed to join a new version of “Dallas,” along with original stars Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy.

The updated version will reportedly focus on the scandalous Ewing family’s younger generation.

But don’t expect to see any of the rumored cast additions.

“There’s no truth” to reports linking Sutherland to “Dallas,” his representative tells Gossip Cop.

A spokesperson for Hewitt labels her supposed involvement “not true.”

And Holloway’s rep echoes their sentiments, saying it’s “not happening.”

It looks like the inaccurate reports tried to attach three big actors to the project… yet couldn’t manage to name a Lone Star.

Hewitt, 31, and Kennedy, 39, confirmed their romance in March 2009. At the time, he declared to Ryan Seacrest, “I’m in love!” and called Hewitt “hot.”

He recently joked about their split on Twitter.
