The series will be different from the movie version in two central ways, Hewitt shared. Firstly, her character will now have red hair, news which pleased co-host Sharon Osbourne. Sam will also be taking on more of a business role in the prostitution operation to support her family.

Fear not though, despite Hewitt’s partial transition to madam-hood, she’ll still be wearing plenty of lingerie, and stay “hands-on” in the parlor’s activities. That’s her pun, not ours. ‘The Client List’ will premiere on Lifetime sometime in 2012.

On “The Emmy Show” – Victoria’s daughter, Emmy (Jennifer Love Hewitt), visits and Victoria enlists Elka and her fake Irish accent to convince Emmy not to publish a tell-all book about her childhood.

Meanwhile, Melanie and Joy meet a secret admirer who bids for one of their hearts.

In the drama, Betty plays Caroline, a World War II widow, who lost her husband when his plane was shot down over the Pacific and he is reported MIA. Caroline has never had any final notification that her husband is dead, so each Valentine’s Day, she returns to Union Station — the last place she saw him — to salute his memory on what is also their wedding anniversary.

“People ask me, ‘What would you like to do that you haven’t done, and in my mind it’s always a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie,” Betty tells ET.

This particular film was of interest to her because of the lost-love angle. Betty was married to Allen Ludden from 1963 until his death in 1981, and she has never remarried. So she understands her character.

“If you’ve had a big love in your life like I had with my beloved Allen Ludden … Oh, he’s right here,” she says, indicating her heart.

Jennifer plays Susan, a TV reporter reluctantly assigned to do a human interest story on Caroline, but things change and she gets into the assignment, trying to discover what really happened to the downed Navy pilot and possibly making a love connection of her own with Caroline’s grandson.

“She ultimately helps Betty get her final goodbye and complete her love story,” the former “Ghost Whisperer” star tells ET.

The two women hit it off instantly, according to Betty, who says, “We were old friends the minute we were introduced. We’ve been teasing each other a lot, but she’s a joy to work with.”

And Jennifer comments, “Betty White, Valentine’s Day, love story … you don’t really need anything else. For me she’s always been the IT girl. I grew up watching ‘The Golden Girls’ with my grandmother and we loved that show.”

The 241st Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation, “The Lost Valentine,” airs Sunday, Jan. 30 at 9 p.m. on CBS.

Love, currently dating director Alex Beh, told Ellen DeGeneres she already picked out three Tiffany engagement rings and said, “I feel like I’m doing the guy a favor.” She told Mario that she doesn’t want to end up like some of her girlfriends who were unsatisfied with their engagement rings.

Even though Jen and Alex have only dated for six months, she has already advised her man, “If you pick one of these three [rings], I’m going to be happy.”

A lot of different sets were used in the production of Ghost Whisperer. Before they were dismantled and destroyed, Jennifer Love Hewitt returned to take fans on a 17 minute tour and to say goodbye.

In the video’s final moments, Hewitt gets emotional while addressing the show’s loyal viewers. She says, “It was an amazing five years. I can not thank you guys enough, from the bottom of my heart — for being so incredibly gracious, for being so loving, for being so accepting of Melinda and all of her craziness, all of her ghosts all of her nightmares, and all of her unfinished business.”

Hewitt continues, “Your love and support has meant everything to the cast and crew of Ghost Whisperer and we will all miss you guys very, very much. And I promise that I will come back to TV to do something really, really fun. Go get our DVDs, think about us, miss us and know how much we all will miss you. (tears up) Much love.” She has to stop at the end, saying “Sorry.” and giving a tiny wave to the camera.

A rape victim, Vicki (Hewitt), is brought into the hospital initially claiming she has been attacked multiple times by the same man. Detectives Benson (Hargitay) and Stabler (Meloni) are determined to help her, but she lives in such terror that she then denies she has been raped at all and refuses to submit to a rape kit.

As Benson looks for a way to help, she is horrified to learn that there are police precincts and evidence labs across the country that never test their rape kits at all. The investigation soon leads her to Los Angeles where she meets Detective Rex Winters (guest star Skeet Ulrich), who has information that could finally help Vicki get justice. Also starring: Ice-T (Detective Odafin Tutuola), Richard Belzer (Detective John Munch), B.D. Wong (Dr. George Huang) and Tamara Tunie (Dr. Melinda Warner).

Jennifer Love Hewitt plays a homecoming queen who turns to prostitution to support her family in the new Lifetime series ‘The Client List.’

“Given where we are economically, it’s an interesting story,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s really a movie about the human condition, and the heart, and where life can take you.”

Jennifer said she took pole dancing classes to prepare for the role “because it really, really gets you in shape [and] it also really teaches you about your inner sexuality.” Her mom is proud.

“My mom’s like, ‘I’m so proud. You’re pole dancing and you’re going to play a prostitute. Awesome!’ It’s like, ‘Yeah, what you always dreamed about, mama!’ But you know, it’s a great part,” she said.

Jennifer Love Hewitt visited ‘The View’ Wednesday where she talked about an ex who cheated on her for a year and a half. She didn’t identify the cheater but said she found out when she checked his email.

“I’m really happy I did it and I would do it again,” she said. “I was really curious, I knew in my gut that something was going on. I checked, and I found that out of the almost two year relationship, for a year and a half, he had been having relationships not just with one woman, but a few.”

Jennifer said she went online because she already suspected him of cheating.

“He was caring more about his appearance, [he started] to work out more… where is that coming from?”

Jennifer has dated Carson Daly, John Mayer and professional kayaker Brad Ludden. She was engaged to Scottish actor Ross McCall from 2007 to 2009, and recently broke up with Jamie Kennedy after one year together (so judging by the length of the relationship he is probably not the cheater.)

Melinda’s (Jennifer Love Hewitt) investigation of a poltergeist in the hospital leads to a showdown with supernatural forces terrorizing her and her son on tonight’s “Ghost Whisperer.”

“We have lots of strange children marching around in scary masks, which is so creepy,” Jennifer tells ET. “It’s like, ‘Why do we always have to make children creepy?’ I’m constantly asking the producers. I’m like, ”Can’t we just have a child who’s not creepy, because it freaks me out. It gives me nightmares and I don’t like it.’”

There actually is a non-creepy kid on “Ghost Whisperer,” and that is her son Aiden (Connor Gibbs).

“We find out that he has to come to Melinda’s aid and really saves her life in the season finale,” Jennifer says. “The dark side gets extremely powerful very quickly and he’s sort of her only heroic key. So my son gets to kind of be a superhero for the episode, which is very cool.”

The “Ghost Whisperer” season finale — possibly the series finale — airs tonight at 8 p.m. on CBS.

On ‘The Rachael Ray Show’ (weekdays, syndicated), an audience member says that, when he looks at other women while with his girlfriend, he’s not actually drawn to their good looks. Instead, the man claims to be appreciating their fashion sense and imagining how their clothes would look on his significant other.

Jennifer Love Hewitt doesn’t buy the man’s explanation, however, and invites him up on stage where she playfully slaps his hand and chides him.

“You are not looking at a blouse for your girlfriend,” Hewitt said. “You are looking at something else in the blouse that is not attached to your girlfriend.”
